Spears’ ex investigated for assault with deadly weapon

Washington, Feb 13 (ANI): Pop princess Britney Spears’s ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib is under investigation for allegedly trying to run over a process server with his car in Los Angeles.

The man, who was trying to serve Ghalib with court papers on February 9, was not badly hurt and filed a report for assault with a deadly weapon, though Ghalib, 36, is not a wanted man.

Perhaps once a man lets Britney Spears into his life, he's never quite the same - although, in the case of Adnan Ghalib, the greasy paparazzo that wormed his way into Spears's heart at the height of her nervous breakdown, we're inclined to believe that he is indeed guilty of any wrongdoing he's accused of being part of.

Now, Ghalib is accused of assaulting someone with a deadly weapon. We don't need to hear any more. We believe it.

But just to be fair and balanced...

Here are the facts. Ghalib is said to have assaulted a process server who arrived at his home on Wednesday morning. The server was there to serve Ghalib legal papers in relation to a restraining order keeping him way from Britney Spears.
